Since this is a story about food, and many people in the world go without food, Morgan agreed that the we give half of any money made from the sale of this book to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, whose mission, is to feed hungry people.

We encourage you to give, or volunteer, for those who go hungry,

at https://secondharvestmidtn.org and we commit to donating half of any profits from the sale of this book to Second Harvest of Middle Tennessee.

A note about this project:

Morgan and I started writing this book to first, see what it takes to make a story, and second, to see how to get the story out into the world where people could find it.  So since you are here -- then you found it!  Thank you.

For Morgan, the motivation and inspiration to write this book began at the University School of Nashville (USN), where as part of the curriculum (starting in kindergarten), children are taught the importance of story telling.  After all, everyone’s life is a story.

Special thanks therefore, go to Ms. Jody Reynolds, Ms. Marty Kennedy, and Ms. Victoria Roca, and the USN community who have supported all of the kids at USN to discover the world and tell their own stories.

We hope you enjoy our story and Morgan's pencil illustrations!
